MATT JERNIGAN, NREMT

Matt is a seasonal PSAR (Preventative Search & Rescue) Ranger in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. And founding member of BUSAR, a wilderness search and rescue team which specializes on arduous and extended search and rescue missions. His experience includes 100s of SAR incidents. He also has a deep knowledge of the Appalachian Mountains and is a Smoky Mountains 900 miler, having hiked all the trails in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
