Skills of Survival.

Skills Of Survival (S.O.S.) is a one day course that serves up the essentials to build confidence, knowledge, and skills for your outdoor adventures. Rain or shine, this round trip survival hike will challenge you physically and mentally, as we hone our skills out in the wilds.


Whether you are a hiker, hunter, rescuer, or adventurer, this class will allow you to learn and apply lifesaving skills throughout the day as we ramble through the mountains. Perfect for that family member that needs to ease in survival skills or those that need a stepping stone to the Survival 101 class.

​Survival Challenges


What to bring:  

    This class focuses on the common problem of being unprepared for a night out in inclement weather, whether it is from an injury, poor planning, or getting lost. Students are encouraged to "fight like you train" and bring the gear they would normally carry on a day hike:


  • Clothing appropriate for the weather, including rain gear
  • First Aid/Survival kit if you have one
  • Daypack
  • Water bottle
  • Headlamp/flashlight
  • Lunch and snacks

            Additional dates available for scheduling with groups of 3 or more


Cost: $85

Age: 12+ (under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult)
Class size limit: 15
